Yes, there is a second Air Cuba which is (or used to be) based in Cuba itself; the flag is Cuban. Another company in Europe called Air Cuba is a rock group. The airline Air Cuba began in 1936 as "Airline of West Cuba" (in English), and changed to Air Cuba in 1962 according to their site. Their use of English is poor, and has conflicting info; 136 planes one place, 276+ another. Claimed several subsidiaries.
It also mentions this:
"In October 2012, Air Cuba launched an airline in Romania, It's Dacii România, with which we are making code-share."
So the Romania one Must be a subsidiary, which apparently never got off the ground; at least their website didn't.
And the Air Cuba NSEH is dealing with in Miami may be a subsidiary as well; or a separate company using the same name. The tail insignias are different. I can't find any booking to Cuba via Air Cuba, so must be defunct.
So my previous posts of plane pics are NOT for the Miami Air Cuba NSEH is dealing with. I don't know what planes they have, and only claimed to be able to carry up to 19 passengers; but cargo all over the Caribbean.
I'm not sure what is going on here. Needs more DD.
