Allow me to try my OWN "explanation." FIRST, consider NEW script numbers for some diabetic drugs for JUST the EIGHTH week after their original launch:
Victoza 3,264
Byetta 3,877
Januvia 15,212
Again, note that those are the NRx just numbers for just ONE WEEK! For JUST the eighth week post-launch, afrezza NRx were 223! Two HUNDRED and twenty three!
Then consider that afrezza:
-- has been on the market TWENTY FIVE MONTHS
-- has been presented at TWO ADA meetings,
-- has had ads in "Time" magazine and multiple diabetic magazines
-- has been mentioned in multiple news casts as well as on multiple talk shows
-- has been discussed WIDELY on forums such as tudiabetes and "diabetes mine"
-- was presented to at LEAST 3,000 endos
-- has had around TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND new scripts written since launch
-- has had multiple CME written for it
-- has had "early adopters" tweeting themselves silly
-- has been presented at multiple JDRF and other diabetes related events
...yet the most RECENT weekly NRx was 155! ONE HUNDRED and fifty five!!!
There is only ONE explanation: endos and diabetics have REJECTED the drug.
