I just called Medmar and they asked me to call back at 3 to discuss this. I want to know if the termination is mutual or if they plan on seeking damages. I will share what I discover
There was no distribution with MedMar. They(MedMar) did not get a license in MD and PA was also a bust. MedMar incorporated in PA and gave a corporate address of an old steel mill in Birdsboro, PA and they didn't get a license in PA. So OWCP terminated a contract with a company that could not fulfill its part of the bargain. Doesn't really matter if OWCP has someone else lined up right now or not. Remove the non performing so future deals can be made without conflict of interest.
Another poster and I researched MedMar extensively since they were literally in our backyard and were not impressed at all with what we found. We didn't make it public at the time, but now it doesn't matter.
This was a good thing IMO and in business not unusual.
