I had no impression Hitmer was talking about anything other than tomorrows (after Labor Day) releases. Posters were building things up to an expectation that was their own not Brad's commitment. I expected news earlier immediately after the registration was complete. Not just 2 or 3, but 20. Where I got that idea I don't know. It's just an example of how we can set ourselves up for disappointment. Brad said sales this year. As far as I know that is the only expectation we can put on his shoulders.

goldrusher, my post was entirely about the announcements and the timing of their release. This was clearly stated and had nothing to do with Brad other than his timing of the releases. By leaving the "releases" references out of your response, then anyone was free to assume that my post had something to do with matters other than the releases and made it appear that I was unsure about Brad's timetable for matters other than that, i.e., readers could easily insert "the chip" and/or whatever other reference came to mind.
That is why I responded to your prior post: So that everyone could avoid the distortions possible from reading your post; that my being unsure was only with reference to the timing of the aforementioned releases and NOT THEIR CONTENT. All of this cyberspace spillage could be avoided by your careful reading of what is written so that the response is pertinent.
