You see, I haven't ignored anything. This is all part of what is called "Problem - Reaction - Solution".
Manufacture the problem by focusing on a single detail which creates a reaction you desire so you can introduce your original intention, the solution.
It is the single most effective tool small groups use to attempt mind control on larger crowds of people.
When you see this form of manipulation taking place, here's some questions to ask yourself,
1. Does the presenter of the perceived problem use fear, panic and ridicule as the means to achieve their desired result?
2. Are they only offering only one possible explanation?
3. Are they trying to get you to give an immediate answer?
4. Do they ask you more questions than you could possibly have answers for without more facts?
5. Does this person have a wide enough grasp of the situation to fully make such firm conclusions?
6. Do you even know who it is that is speaking to you?
