If I recall correctly don't you need to drive into Canada then back into the states to get there? Not sure if that was the spot but pretty sure one of those area's up there is like that.

About 10 years ago something like that we rented a house for a few days on the beach up near there. I knew nothing about the strength of tides. Lost some $$$ crabbing gear. LOL!
Oh man you walk out there expecting to see your marker and nothing there. Take the boat out can't find it anywhere. They had a little rowboat you could take out in good weather.
God is good it turned out you could walk out there up to your knees or so and find huge crab and grab them with your hands. Oh man that was three days stuffing ourselves with crab. Love that area up there.
Went to church link. beautiful church from the olden days before money was spent on keeping up with the jones church.
