What a crock. It's a combination of things and there's not one thing that can be done about it quickly so you better get out your sunglasses and sunscreen.
You people act like this ice on earth has been here a long time and that the earth has always been some tropical rain forest, well it hasn't. It goes through cycles such as shifts on it's axsis and meteor hits as well that cause serious climate changes that last for thousands of years, but slowly warm up after each event. This is one such event thathas been taking place for thousands of years.
Could Carbon Dioxide speed that process up? Yes I guess it could, but getting rid of every Carbon Dioxide producing machine won't stop it's procession.
A nuclear war might by causing a nuclear winter, but I don't think anybody wants one of those other than Iran or maybe North Korea.
