"I don't hold shares in any alzheimer's company, but, watch closely since society desperately needs a cure. "
Probably a good strategy as Alzheimer's is definitely a tough nut to crack. We are less than 20 days from seeing if Dr. Alkon is correct in his PKCe theory. I like that. This trial is truly designed to fail quickly!!
I'll have to try the Niagen, thanks for the suggestion.
You have been involved with some other companies that I have been following and you always bring a lot of expertise to the board so great that you have found your way to this one :).
The article that you linked was very interesting and I hadn't noticed it before. It reports astounding improvement on one patient and even if not anything else it serves as a reminder what can happen with just a single patient (whatever the cause and direction of the chance).
If you are still interested in researching it further you may want to check the people behind the article. In my opinion George and Victor Tetz are not necessarily the most trustworthy individuals as least based on quick google search.
So more information about the case study would be definitely needed but I'm sure that if there is anything real behind the article there are more than enough people willing to take it further given the enormous potential payback. So hopefully we will hear more about this particular approach, since IMO we definitely will if there is anything more to report.
