It is good to see the Pelican acquisition proceed. As part of this deal they will get $15 million to complete a phase I with PTX-25. And once the acquisition is complete it will be great to see some of the PTX-25 preclinical data. They claim that PTX-25 is a "best-in-class" T-cell co-stimulator. In ComPACT preclinical studies the gp96 plus Ox40 combination resulted in ~50% complete tumour rejection as compared to ~16% with Ox40 monotherapy. If PTX-25 is even better than Ox40 we can look forward to some very impressive combination results.
