JNUG has no intrinsic value, it is the 3x etf of GDXJ. The 3 times return or loss is generated by swaps with a counter party.

It is a casino/ trading tool.

I think of it as a option that never expires, It does have decay through the swaps. It is not a long term investment.

JNUG, NUGT, JDST, DUST are the most volatile among leveraged ETFS.


There are many good, leveraged ETFs based on indices: TNA, TQQQ, SPXL, etc.
