Thanks E ~~~~ just realized that I 'nailed' the final score
to the penny !
;-)

But, I'll trade it all in for a MASTER's trophy and NASCAR
3-peat !

;-)

GL this weekend ---- I think we may be in for a few
surprises ---- I really want HM --- but, DJ is just
too strong to pass on !

We got SLIMED ~~~ NY Times is caught offsides ~~ By Michael Goodwin

The sports editor of The New York Times calls himself an “idiot,” and who can argue? Jason Stallman played politics with the visit of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots to the White House — and got burned.

The Times’ story included a comparison of photos to make a point that more Patriots players went to the White House in 2015 to meet then-President Barack Obama.

Stallman, who says he ordered up the photo comparison and tweeted about it, made a mistake: The 2015 photo included all team personnel, about 40 of whom were not players, making a dramatic, and unfair, contrast with Wednesday’s players-only photo.

Stallman admitted his mistake after the Patriots notified him, but that’s only part of his error. Virtually the whole story was about who didn’t show up, and included quotes from some who didn’t criticizing Trump.

That’s was Stallman’s real mistake — turning a routine sports story into a political hatchet job. Of course, Trump-bashing is catnip at the Times, so maybe Stallman just wanted to be useful.

(Second one down.)
