First NNVC has to come up with a lead candidate that shows promise for curing something. If they can't find a lead candidate, scale-up is a non-issue.

There have been an awful lot of PR's by Seymour claiming to have signed contracts with labs for exactly this purpose of identifying a lead, but every single announced study has so far gone POOF!

Fortunately for Seymour, investors have very short memories:

Actually the best thing that could happen to us stockholders is if Big Pharma comes along and buys our shares for $4 each. Theracour is there solely to protect Dr. Diwan and to keep all intellectual property under his control even if NNVC goes bankrupt. There is no benefit whatsoever to other shareholders of making development cost 30% more than it should.
