4.99 per trade is real decent.. The recent events of two..maybe three?..companies lowering transaction fees is a real good thing for traders and us home gamers. Ive been with Scottrade from the beginning..since two competitors recently lowered their rates to what was it?? $4.99 or something there abouts..it took down Etrade 4 points.. Scottrade is being bought out by Ameritrade and the deal goes down soon. They havent lowered their fees and think they're at 8-9 or even $10.00 a trade..whatever the case...I'm moving out of Scottrade or leave a small..almost dormant account there so I dont have to close it. One thing a trader does NOT like to do...go back and tally up transaction fees ..right?..so if I could trade around $5 per shot I would move..
