Very strange. Even if they were sending out small samples, they could have used the small reactor instead of batching.

By utilizing batching for months, it was very inefficient and in my opinion likely caused them to miss the milestone of final product and revenues in 1st quarter 2017.

Just think, if they use batch to produce a product for the client, they have proven is that they can produce a product in small quantities via batching. QMC is selling mass production with their reactors. So once they have a batches approved product for the client, they now have to go back a price they can mass produce it in the reactor. This would require additional time to formulate and fine tune that production to get the same output as the approved batched product.

I see this method of R&D as inefficient and increasing time for QMC to prove production to the client. Sounds like some of the scientist and leadership that were in charge just made the wrong decision to batch and caused further delays. We all make bad decisions and mistakes. It looks like this was their mistake. This is of course just my opinion or interpretation of reading into Squires' comments.
