"Purchases in recent years" have nothing to do with the landscape today. And if you're going to talk about all insider transactions "in recent years", then you need to acknowledge the many times insiders dumped, including right before they announced dilution in 2012.
If the company thought it was truly on the verge of taking off, you better believe we'd see some buying.
