My guess. That buy in September was do to the fact that the company announced its restructuring efforts were to continue. Why not take a gamble on a company whom once had a major foothold in a trillion dollar industry? And with all the recent very positive news, why sell?? The Accordant deal alone opens up many more avenues to add revenue to the companies pipeline. And your source for the short position is not right. Just today they shorted 420k, which was every share taken out on the offer haha. There's a reason they don't want this thing going north. It's pretty obvious imo
I don't think about short selling. I think John M. Fife's funds. He is a Passive Investor and got 360,000,000.00 shares on last April 2016. Possibly he has made a deal with Market Marker to sell on open market and get shares back after hours trading. ( look @ ERFB after hours trading. It is weird ). Dean Cubley was out and not a seller anymore. this is in my opinion
