There is another possibility as to why the interview is on Sept 4.

Maybe that is all that was left on relatively short notice. The choice couild have been Sept 4 (non-trading) or some time in November.

I don't read much into it.

Maybe the 4th is the only day MN1 would give him, since afterall... it sounds like this interview is with an IR guy and not the CEO. Anyone think of that? Maybe MN1 wouldn't give a trading-day interview to "some IR guy" since they can't tout that they're interviewing the "CEO" of the company.
