This isn't accurate - you have 12 months after you file for a provisional patent or it will be abandoned and you can't refile for a provisional patent application.

And the USPTO provisional patent process doesn't have anything to do with "PCT International Patents" - absolutely nothing!

Reapplying is not necessary anymore because OWCP leveraged its original USPTO applications to apply for PCT international patents. It's all done and protected in 140+ countries including entire US. No need to file locally in US anymore

There isn't a International Patent as claimed and the PCT is about a placeholder in the Countries participating - but you have patent protect you have to file in each country.

Why do you think OWCP filed a Provisional Patent Application.

You can get a extension on the Provisional patent - with this caveat - you must file a formal or non-provisional patent application. Also, you are required to allow your patent application to be published after 18 months.

Once again, Provision patents doesn't have anything to do with, "Reapplying is not necessary anymore because OWCP leveraged its original USPTO applications to apply for PCT international patents."
