Serf, you are correct, but the duel is one that determines who is providing fact while the other providing fiction.

As for CEO's who get a bit on their horse......as you and I have both noted, we have worked for some who easily fit this role. Not a big suprise in corporate America. Can you imagine what working for WR Hearst must have been like?

Rufus is a BadAss, he's probably one of the most down to earth CEOs i ever come across. you see this guys cookout attire? that guys laid back dude he has nothing to worry about. Not every ceo has to be a stiff u know!...sheeeeet if i was a ceo i'd be even more laid back....as in... not even posting...lol

Serfdom, I will give you that Rufus does not act in a manner that we expect a CEO to act - when I first started looking into CSHD (then FHAL), my reaction was 'you have gotta be kidding me! What kind of CEO posts on boards and engages in stupid arguments with bashers?', and I'll admit to making fun of him (and having fun at his expense)... hell, I'll still have some fun at his expense here and there.
However, a friend reminded me of my own experience: I am a teacher and not a conventional one. Every year I have to justify my methods/unit plans and such to either the principal or the board (and parents along the way); however, year after year, my students have the highest scores both on standardized testing and our internal testings, and my attendance levels are the highest in the district. So, no, I don't teach the way you think a teacher should teach (or the way you are used to teachers teaching) but I get results and they are damn good.
Moral of this story is that just because a CEO does things the way they haven't been done before or are not done regularly doesn't mean he's not a good CEO.

As to the Not particulary bright, likeable, or honest bit, I'm sorry, but whichever way you look at it, Mr. Harris is very very bright - genious in fact. If this is for real, no argument of his intelligence is needed... and if this is a scam, hey, he was smart enough to con thousands of people and probably smart enough to get away with it in the end!
And he's probably very charismatic as well.
So say what you will, but he is not dumb by any means.

As for his honesty, that I cannot comment on as only time will tell.
