Thanks for providing the case number and location of the settlement agreement (something that I should have found months ago). It shows that both parties agreed not to divulge the payment amount.

Neither of these would appear to fit under the black redaction mark:
$25 Million
$25,000,000

In the Quarter that the settlement was reached (ended 6/30/16) DECN recorded two things that I believe suggest that the amount of the payment was $450,000. One was a "Gain on patent licenses of $1,000,000" and the other was an asset entitled "Patent Licenses, net value" in the amount of $550,000. From an accounting standpoint it would be logical to conclude that the difference was the cash payment.
