I guess that's part/parcel of it. But, to a larger degree....
WE (even our parents/kids/grandkids) are the drivers of change.
It's (iconic brands) nothing more than a snippet of the LARGER picture....ie. less and less allegiance, support, foundation building for much of anything ---- including country.
How many of us (now) take ease with ordering on line ?
Ordering (you name it) stuff from 3rd world countries? << looked
at shirts/pants lately??? Sri Lanka, Viet Nam, CHINA.
We go to Wal*Mart, COSTCO, SAM's etc. to save a dime or two.
Send electronic GET WELL cards.........
all the while our little downtown retailers struggle to make
ends meet. Geez, even the food we eat (if we eat out)....is
from a LARGE CONGLOMERATE....often!
Said differently....we've seen the enemy...and the enemy is US!
