Big Investors with deep pockets can sell short anything if they have enough cash to put up, and if they have a connection in Canada it would be no problem for them to short against these shares, whether they sold them short or Jimmied the Restriction somehow, they still have to give them back to the CEO when he decides to pay-off the loan, and I hear thats in the near future.
