As keynote sponsor, OWCP's name will be on the swag bags and featured in the first few pages of the conference handbook. Lots of good marketing for the whole event.
The people coming to this type of conference are from the Research side of funds. Not the trading side, unless it's a small fund where people do both.
I would be very surprised if these guys didn't do any DD. These are not events where funds go to learn about companies, this is where you go to ask specific questions after you've done a lot of DD.
