Jacob.....I agree. Sounds like same old, same old to me. Mnuchin effectively punted the ball again, currently having no idea how to move the ball downfield.
The proper solution, IMO, is staring these guys in the face. There are no viable alternatives to what Fannie and Freddie does, they are hugely profitable entities, and they should no longer be captive of the US government.
