Activision-blizzard started somewhere with there 500 members in the very beginning stages. as they grew so did there presence. please enlighten me on some numbers of bigger companies tournaments as far as members numbers and actual players in tournaments. ill bet the low % surprises you. the bigger co have 11million members instead of 11k. more than likely close to same % of tournament players to members. we simply need to keep growing at increased rates in games offered, tournament frequency, and keep signing new members. i think you may not fully understand how to build an online business. first you need reasons for people to come to your site. once so much traffic consistently comes daily and or monthly you can begin earning $. if you monetize to soon you destroy everything youve been working on. If you owned an informative blog with 11k members and gaining 150 verified members a day you could probably retire from ad revenue. now if you were trying to start an industry competitive co you might want to wait for a target # of 50k. simple business practices. now whether the business succeeds or not is an entirely different story. just looking at the model, we are exactly on track. imo
