Never heard that one before. In fact, when the dividend is via cash, there is no dilution to the shares and pps typically rises from buying of the shred to qualify for the dividend. Lots of companies offer divis via cash payment and pps doesn't take the kind of hit this did.
When did the settlement / distribution get announced? That's when pps should have / would have been most impacted. In consulting with the charts, I'm not seeing it. Maybe I'm missing something.
