We have a big enough job dealing with public messages; we do not get involved in PMs unless a user specifically requests us to confirm that there has been a threat made, or we become aware that PMs are being used for mass advertising or solicitation. The users of this site are adults and should be able to make their own decisions about which boards they read, and which users they choose to ignore, including PMs.
I could argue that you guys can easily tell others to ignore Greg, that the users of this site are adults and should be able to make their own decisions about how to treat Greg's comments. Instead, you take the more drastic step in banning him.

No, this is an issue I have with the site itself. Greg's situation is only part of it. The issue with the moderator who feels free to send harassing PMs is the other part of it. If each happened in isolation, I wouldn't care as much, but both are happening at the same time.
In any case, it doesn't appear as if I'll be changing any of your minds. You do what you feel is best for the site as a whole. I've already paid my membership fees, so as a business customer there's no way I can vote with my wallet.
