So the US military conduct a raid and all they have to show for it is a jihadi training video, part of which
was on the public net in 2007 .. is that “the sort of intelligence information” they were after? .. well, no,

as "Air Force Col. John J. Thomas, a U.S. Central Command spokesman" said

"“I didn’t want it to appear like we were passing out old-as-new information,” Thomas said. “We’re not trying to get into a political discussion
or influence anyone’s thinking. We’re just trying to [do] due diligence and help explain the kind of data we exploit at sites like this.”

Other information gathered in the raid is classified,

Seems the question is: what constitutes a successful operation?

There was a moment very early on when i had to check whether the video released by US military was one of their
own which had some 10y old footage in it, or not .. once it was fixed as a jihadi video my confusion time felt over ..
