ABI :) can't be happening at medium to large accounts, they just don't work that way. They're much more interested in the solution that sells and by the P/P and P/W estimates, that has to be Intel. Really small accounts, maybe, they need to differentiate...

Wall Street is in denial. It's as simple as that. All AMD has to do is make claims that they will gain market share and have the superior product, and the analysts are willing to believe them. Of course, when AMD fails to deliver, they will get hit hard.

You should take this time as an opportunity and buy some puts soon. I don't believe the share of the market that's Anything But Intel is very large at all. In fact, if people have a choice between getting an Intel chip that's faster, lower power, and competitively priced, I think >99% of the market would go for it. That <1% may be a huge number in absolute terms, but it won't do much for overall market share numbers.
