There are many AMEX stocks that listed under that waver program. Some of those issues are no better than the average otcbb /pink issue they have minimal revenue and no profit, but they do have an AMEX listing.

In other words there are less worthy stocks trading on the AMEX than NMKT. Nmkt could conceivably take over those very weak companies and gain a listing that way.

Other than that I do not know what NMKT’s options are? I do know many companies are leaving the US markets because of SARBOX and NSS issues. Perhaps a foreign listing or a dual listing is in the works here.

If NMKT did leave here they would not do it to list on a small exchange that is the foreign equivalent to the OTCBB. NMKT qualifies for the larger prestigious exchanges (equivalent to NYSE, NASDAQ) in foreign countries where there are institutional investors and big European money. Don’t forget the Euro and Pound trade higher than the US dollar and they have for a long time.

I believe the foreign markets control a little over 40%+ of worldwide market activity with the US taking the remaining 50%+ piece of the pie.
