I don't think it's odd because vplm normally only puts out news that they can spin positive. Vplm seems to cherry pick only that which may serve to prop or sell shares. Thus they're supposed to auto sweep that under the large but handy area rug. I think the defendants may have fears about what courts/judges may or may not do, given pressures, manipulations, politics, money......but they seem to have no worries about the patents themselves.....or they would've bought or licensed by now, my take.
