"... escape from that cocoon .. you could if you cared about others enough"
Like I stated, Obama's accomplishments are a joke.
One example,
If Obama really wanted to help the majority of the people of his color that have been systematically delegated to a physical place in our society where poverty and crime are passed on to the next generation, then there is one thing he could have done, which I admit he would be totally unsuccessful, but it would shine a light on a miscarriage of justice the upper middle class, through the void of allowing what everyone knows, not to be considered an item for discussion.
If Obama spoke words, in regards to what I'm to identify, he would have had zero chance to be elected President the first time, and if he spoke them during the second campaign, he would again have been defeated for reelection.
"... a socialist slant [speaks] of treating all of the populace of the United States in a fair and equal manner that would result in a dramatic decline of racial tensions.
Not only that, but it would result in a much more healthy economic environment as it would introduce into the workforce a very significant quantity of folks having "born with" potentials to excel in all areas of occupations, but currently these sectors of race are prevented, as in denied, the ability to demonstrate such skills.
... middle class, if not higher, whereupon [children] have access to the best schools from grade one to completion of high school such that they, if so desired, can obtain an excellent education foundation to advance and enter the workforce.
Schools are funded by property taxes such that where the established middle and upper classes live, so the taxes are higher than the poor sections, resulting in lots of money to fund schools.
Rural poor and those of inner city poverty-stricken areas receive far below the cash needed to maintain even the lowest standards suitable for a proper education for the children.
Why is this is simple as those with money had this structure put in place.
So I say, not so much as a better system, but a correct system would be all the property taxes be collected and evenly distributed to all locations such that every child in the United States has available the same level of access to an education.
This would mean [most all] school systems would receive less money [as the poor sections receive more.]
I'm sure 99% of "the haves" would not [accept this] and reply as a reason with "We need to prevent our country from socialist Mexico, communist Jina..."
That slogan "Our children are our future." needs to become a Walk rather than just Words.
... the present system has damaged far far greater our society than whatever lessening [middle class] school systems obtained from a lessening funding of money?
