I worked for a major healthcare concern awhile back and I looked at MMRF when people started telling me about it. He was suing everyone who had medical records with his claim that he had invented the wheel to begin with.
I actually think the people who invested in MMRF thought he would win the day and be the next best thing since sliced bread. What they could not understand is that medical records is covered under HIPAA and the information is proprietary and the retention of that data existed long before MMRF came on the scene.
Granted he may have bought up a patent at one time but that did not cover existing medical records and the relationship with the patient and vendor.
I think at one time he even sued my pharmacy. lol.
I researched Lorsch's fascinating background. I think EZ and his pals just hoped they could ride along with another of his deals.
