Nina - I believe you can get to your monitor settings by clicking Start->Control Panel->Display->Energy Saving Features->Settings

There may be a 'Standby' or 'Sleep' setting you can change...

nina...u know where u set up which monitor is #1 or #2? for some reason mine occasionally goes back to default and i have to set it again.

right click in blank space on your screen and click properties.

then settings....see if the settings are correct.
