Hmmm... half Irish/half German...
and the German side won. Makes me feel better. With my prissy English half, I now understand that I was genetically programmed to have no sense of humor. <ggg>

The heavy in the German food doesn't bother me. It is the taste. Plus which at this point, it is too heavily carb based for me.

I do like the sausages barbequed but eaten sans bread.

Mumsy makes a superb German potato salad (hot, sweet sour sauce). Not bad for an English woman... she learned how to do it to my father's taste. No wonder they will celebrate 55 years together in September. Time flies.

Whether you're having fun or not. ;-)

I like northern Italian and Chinese cuisine. Tend to avoid the sides of pasta and the rice. When I feed myself... plain meat and plain vegetable. Food is eaten to live... it is not a source of entertainment.

How to enjoy German, Mexican and Italian foods.....

Jog 5 miles a day over and above 2 days worth of hard labor each day! Otherwise I'd be weighing about 1973 pounds right now because I love all three. <g>
