Did anyone suggest we not continue working through the UN? The problem is, and you illustrate it beautifully, this admin approaches an issue with a black OR white mentality - if you do this, you can't also do that. The Decider's, "you're either with us or you're with the terrorists" is a perfect example.
Reagan managed to have talks with Russia, and Nixon managed to have talks with China. Go figure!
We WILL talk with Iran, but not while this admin is in the WH.
