At this point both the US and Iran seem to be "talking" past each other, although the president of Iran did write an 18pg letter to The Decider recently. The Decider never responded - not even with an acknowledgement that a letter from a president of another country was received at the WH. What is The Decider afraid of? He does not have to get involved in these talks - in fact I would STRONGLY lobby that he NOT get involved.

The sooner we engage Iran in talks, the better.
We will eventually talk to Iran, but not while this admin is in the WH.

i think the hersh's of the world are deliberate anti usa propagandists who knowingly pollute the minds of voters who have no minds and know no history.

the us military has contingency plans for every situation imaginable, as I am sure the russians, bulgarians, israels, saudis and every other military in the world

to ascribe intent to those contingency plans is a remarkable ploy, since contingency planning has been going on in the usa since 1950 and hersch knows this very very well
