The rattlers I've eaten were breaded and fried, just like chicken (looked like big chicken nuggets). And yep, this is true. At one of the restaurants at a fancy-schmancy resort in Phoenix.
Having grown up on the east coast, I'll bet your 2 poisonous snakes are copperheads and water moccasins.
An aside: I'm still trying to discern which part of the chicken "the nugget" comes from <LOL>.
