#28783 RE: 4retire #28782

I think it's fair to say there remains considerable dispute. Dimension is applying to clarify the order, and both sides have given notice of an appeal. I think this all equals 'dispute'.

Trudef continues to be described as fractal based progeny of Iterated patents on Tmmi's webpage. Trudef is I think what was purportedly presold and inserted in to operating systems.

Tmmi says it has 5 patent applications filed. I can only find one. (US 2016 007 8601). If anyone can identify the other 4 applications mentioned, can you post a reference?

Disputes in 2017:

Costs. Smitty estimates that the costs claimed are somewhere between 25k and 150k. We don't know what has been spefically claimed, but Tmmi appears to be disputing any obligation to pay costs or alternatively to pay a lesser amount.

Fees. Dim has made an application to be reimbursed for legal fees. Tmmi is opposing.

The order. The terms of the order are disputed.

Notices of appeal filed by both sides.

Abuse of process claim still a theoretical possibility.

It's possible that this dispute ends this month. But "... promises to keep. And miles to go before I sleep...", etc. More likely Dimension and Tmmi are so parasitically entwined the dispute is the only thing keeping them both alive.

If you mean there are no disputes about ownership of the Iterated legacy tech, I disagree.
