I do understand your assessment j5mith.

Unless we all see funding take place and some real progress from Freedom Motors (well, mostly the newly resurrected EcoRotary), I would not make a big deal out of any of the announcements so far. I am optimistic about it, but will the deal stick together a year from now? Two years from now? It's hard to say at this point.

I understand being cynical because of Moller's history, but having been working directly with Paul, Zack, and the rest of the Moller team for the last year and half I can say that they are not doing anything for the sake of appearances. They really are working hard to make the Moller Skycar successful, which is their ultimate goal.

But, I would also say that we should all judge their success by meaningful progress toward that goal this year. For Moller, that means getting the Neuera FAA certified and flying un-tethered. For Freedom Motors, they have to meet engine testing benchmarks and manufacturing equipment transfers established as part of the JV so they can start to receive the full $21 Million in licensing fees. Meeting these goals would go a *long* way toward placating investor concerns.

Great write up. I have many critiques of MLER. I think David is cleaning up the website a bit. It still looks like a mock up of a video game with a animated flying Skycar. Hopefully David gets the blog up where we can get real time updates. The Twitter account was embarrassing. Someone kept recycling very bad Skycar quotes and pictures. That needed to stop. It made you want to sell everything when I read it.

I was on Breitbart today and saw a new "internal fan based" hover craft actually flying. I also have seen the large electric drones flying. When a company, like MLER, has been around for so long it makes you wonder if they will ever get off the ground. Many others have done more in 10% of the time and under the $100 Million Moller has spent.

MLER has to prove to people that they are actually working on something. I don't think people believe anything gets done there. I don't blame them.
