He should go down with the ship unless he gives back some of the 8 million shares that he has rewarded himself with for the great job he has done. Otherwise we will have to dilute ourselves much more just to take care of the new CEO.
On a more positive note, I while I am as hacked off as everyone else about the current share price. I don't think we are in a terminal dive. But what do I know?
