The Wranglers, a farm team for the Kansas City Royals,
are owned by Rich Baseball Inc. of Buffalo, N.Y.
Officials from Springdale traveled to Buffalo for meetings Sunday and Monday.

"I'm a bit overwhelmed that they (Rich Baseball) chose Springdale, Arkansas,
as to where they want to bring one of their teams,
" Van Hoose said in a statement to council members Tuesday.
