To Seymour's self-serving credit, he did attempt to prevent Dave from attending the meeting and he did try to shut him down during his tirade.

Why would Seymour allow someone who has no accountability to anyone, to get up at a shareholders meeting and spout off about some ill-informed action that the company should take to combat some loony-tunes crackpot conspiracy theory?
