Smitty is right when he says that Tmmi's name does not appear on the license agreement (as far as I know). But the effort for which the shares were to be paid was an effort that would benefit Tmmi. Tmmi wasn't agreeing to pay Tom Simpson shares to derive no benefit from it. He was acting for the benefit of Tmmi. Or so it was thought. Didn't Simpson resign in the year 2000?
