I think we can put this into the "Rule or Ruin" policy. Either these guy are gonna to rule the world, by force, or they will destroy it.

Either way, they are in control of the situation. And that, i believe, is exactly what they want. Control.

You are right, it is very sad. And even sadder that Russia is going to play along, and justify a new arms war.
