You need to look at future projections and do your analysis

Every growth company will trade on future expectations. Odd this one has such a Sh**t value. You seem to discount that the scumbag CEO Berman has a history of wiping shareholders out while living the life of luxury. He was even sued along with his past cohorts by shareholders in another now defunct company and the shareholders won.

It must be killing Berman with so many eyes on him now that he has to restrain himself and resist putting out ficticious press releases to hype the stock

Uh, excuse me but that is totally wrong. Inventory and/or receivables previously written off would be offset against the same contra account used to write them off.

For example, if originally booked as bad debt expense, any subsequent collection would be offset against bad debt expense (or cost of goods sold) and/or the allowance for bad debt balance sheet account.

NEVER BOOKED AS A GAIN when previously written off.

Ask me how I know this.

Really?

So why don't companies write off all their inventory, then they can record a gain on the zero?

That would be a huge gain, right?

Sorry, you have to take things in CONTEXT.

I tried to highlight the sentences that were key in my post. You failed to understand them.

I repeat,You can only hope to mitigate(by selling in another Market) a very bad thing that happened(Huge write-off....real dollars here).

The write off indicated/was telling you the inventory could not be sold in it's form internationally or Domestically in DECN's normal channels.

At that point, basically selling it in an "auction" or quasi-grey market where these regulations don't apply is apparently the option the Company is hoping to seek.

"You need to look at future projections and do your analysis"

I would caution all to beware of any forecast/projection put forward by this Company,or any Company the Company may have hired.

The track record here is awful.

The Wallin reports were terribly inaccurate.

2011 Genstrip forecast....

http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/instacare-corp-announces-2011-genstrip-guidance-report-penned-by-william-walling-cfa-113348059.html

In fact, they were so bad, they've been completely removed from DECN's site.

And if i have this wrong,I'd like someone to sight one forecast/projection put out by DECN that was accurate?

Otherwise, I'd add that to your analysis.
