The market is in full-blown idiot mode. It's clearly unsustainable, but this doesn't mean I'm eager to go short.

I'm operating under the belief the market will do well into 2017, so even if we get a pause or a dip, I'll be looking to buy, not sell.

I would not chase higher here - the risk/rewards just aren't there. Build your list. After a rest, it'll be time to put more money to work.
