My original thinking was cost of setting up and overhead of the plant and overshot the product itself..........

Now that would be a bit of a complex scenario for a set price because the product ingredients is based on 2 known commodity ingredients which price fluctuates on market pricing + any unknown ingredients..........

not sure what mix it takes for the process either, we know that a barrel of oil is 70.00 avg price lately and the soy beans? WE know soy gives you the best return on your energy in to product out ratio.

So what does anyone give a fair estimate of ingredient expense per gallon of finished product ????

Remember what you see at the pump price is for 9/10th of a gal so you have to add 10% more to the price for a real gal of fuel.

Maybe say 25% profit on a gal of what we produce?
