I should have stated clearly that I do not want the federal government to do anything except collect the property taxes and distribute the money to the areas and perhaps side stepping the local government officials and transfer the money to an organization of parents with children and let them replace the public schools with private schools that includes a heavy slant towards your "technical vocation degrees."

Once again, my focus is k-12 not college.

If that means something other than, the rich schools get the better education, then by all means speak in freakin' English already!

Parents are over rated.

Its like that air-head mother that puts the sign "Just say no to drug." into her children's room and thinks she "done her job as a parent."

As to much of your other post, if you're not aware, the U.S. Military uses just one test to determine your career, it's called the ASVAB and you get one shot at it.
