The whole purpose of the speeches at that dinner are supposed to be self-deprecating humor at both the speaker, the opponent and anyone attending.

For Rudy to sit there stone faced was a joke; one that he obviously missed.

Trump went off the reservation with his personal attacks on Hillary especially his comments on Hillary trying to like Catholics.

It will be interesting to see the religious demographics after the election to see who voted for whom.
